Croesyceiliog School Learning, Respect, Ambition

6th Form provision from 2019-20, message from the LA.

All Year 11 learners moving into a Torfaen English Medium 6th form for a 2 year course will start their studies at that 6th form for the academic year 2019-2020 and will then transfer to the new 6th form centre in Cwmbran for the academic year 2020-2021. All secondary schools, including those without 6th forms, will be working on the transition arrangements to support their learners in the run up to the opening of the new centre. In the specific case of Croesyceiliog School, which will see its new 11-16 school open in 2019, 6th form learning will primarily take place in the school’s existing West Wing building in 2019-2020.

Introduction to Sixth Form

Welcome To Croesyceiliog Sixth Form

Croesyceiliog School has a top performing Sixth Form.

Our Sixth Form is very special because our students do well, year after year, whatever their strengths and talents.

Every year our students obtain the very best university places, jobs or college places due to the excellent examination results they achieve.

They are also students who make valuable contributions to the school and the wider community.

How do they do it?

The guidance and support of their teachers enables our students to make a successful transition from GCSE to A Level.

Additionally, we have committed students who have the independence, determination and energy to succeed.

There is a strong team of tutors to support students through the challenges and opportunities of Sixth Form life.
