Year 9 Virtual Careers Fair 2022
Welcome to the first ever Croesyceiliog School Year 9 Virtual Careers Fair!
Usually students would be able to meet with a variety of employers and further education specialists at our Careers Fair to find out more about roles in different employment sectors and what courses are available to them after leaving Croesyceiliog School. We were unable to hold such an event this year due to the current restrictions therefore there was a Year 9 Virtual Careers Fair held on Wednesday 19th January and this event will be supported by Careers Fortnight within school in which Year 9 students will have a programme of activities related to careers during form period every morning as well as their Health & Wellbeing lessons.
This Year 9 Virtual Careers Fair webpage will include information and videos supporting students to prepare for their future life and career choices as well as resources from external sources such as Careers Wales on how they support students in school.
The Virtual Careers Fair is part of the support for the year 9 options process. More information regarding the events below will follow soon. Key dates for Year 9 are as follows:
* Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd February - Year 9 Parents' Evening.
* Wednesday 16th February - Year 9 Options Evening.
Alongside this within school there will be a planned programme of support and information for your child as they start to think about their learning pathways for Key Stage 4 starting in September 2022.
