On Thursday 26th June, Year 11 pupils celebrated the end of an era in spectacular fashion at the Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran, for their Leavers’ Prom 2025. With nearly 200 guests in attendance, the evening was a truly memorable occasion.

Our pupils looked absolutely stunning. The boys were sharp and stylish in suits of various cuts and colours, while the girls looked like they had stepped straight out of a fairytale in their elegant prom dresses. Their maturity, charm and impeccable behaviour made them a credit to both their families and the school community.

From arrival to the final song, pupils conducted themselves with politeness and respect toward one another, their teachers and hotel personnel.

Guests were treated to a delicious hot finger buffet, courtesy of the Parkway Hotel, including: sweet potato fries, chicken strips, vegetable samosas, pizza, and an impressive selection of bite-size desserts.

One of the highlights of the evening was the announcement of the pupil-voted

prom awards. Congratulations to Megan H for winning Best Dressed Pupil,

Marcy T and Theo S took Prince and Princess, whilst Luke B and Sinead B were

crowned King and Queen of the night.

A huge thank you goes to Tina Louise Weddings for providing fantastic music,

beautiful decorations, and an entertaining Photo Booth experience, and to the

Parkway Hotel for being outstanding hosts and looking after us so well.

Overall, the night was a resounding success — filled with laughter, friendship

and memories that will last a lifetime. Instagram links; Arrivals and Prom

The evening was packed with fun and celebration. The Photo Booth was a huge hit, complete with silly props that had everyone laughing and making memories. The dance floor was buzzing all night long, as pupils showed off their best moves and responded enthusiastically to over 200 song requests given to DJ Tina Louise. She kept the energy high, supported by an array of props such as neon glasses, inflatable microphones and guitars, balloons and glowing foam batons.
